If a plumber needs to do major repairs to your house, the work could call for a permit. You'll want this since a permit provides added assurance that the work is done correctly. Having this added measure in place means an inspector will check the work your contractor or plumber does to ensure he or she did the job correctly. If you ever plan on putting your house or commercial building on the market, a real estate agent and prospective buyers will also want to check any large work you did to make sure it was done properly.
Where to start...commission based work, which was fine at first. Owner contracts through several low rate property management firms at discounted rates, and then behind the scenes is scalping those rates even more. Even after theyve been agreed to and approved. Caught red handed lowering final price of completed jobs, at the technicians expense. Offers free estimates, and offers zero compensation to the technicians for said estimates, resulting in countless wasted hours not being paid a dime. Oh, and has wonderful online reviews, which the owner pays for. Probably with all the extra money he's stealing from his plumbers. Complete joke, biggest scam ever. Charge big and pay out small.

Water service repair As your home gets older, so does your home’s connection to a main water line.  Over time, your home’s connection to an external water source can leak or break due to extreme temperatures, corrosion, the natural shifting of soil, or simply natural aging.  If you are experiencing an unnaturally soggy lawn, water discoloration, or a severe drop in water pressure, your home may be in need of Master Rooter Plumbing’s water service repair.  Our expert team can pinpoint breaks in your water line and repair the damage, allowing your home to once again have access to clean water. Sump repair and replacement Sump pumps are a crucial means of protecting your home from flooding and basement damage.  A sump pump is designed to ensure that water drains away from your home’s foundation and if it fails you open your home up to the potentially disastrous results.  At Master Rooter Plumbing, our highly-trained technicians are skilled in repairing your sump pumps to get them back into fighting shape, or replacing those that have given up the ghost.  Your home’s sump pump is your first line of defense against flood damage, don’t let your home be unprotected. Kitchen, lavatory faucet repairs and upgrades The drip, drip, drip or a leaky faucet has become a symbol of all things annoying but it’s not the only problem that can happen to your bathroom or kitchen faucet.  That drip can eventually lead to a faucet that won’t stop running, or worse yet, a faucet that won’t turn on at all. Whether it’s just a drip or something more serious, Master Rooter Plumbing is up to the task to help solve your leaky faucet problems! Call us 24-7 at 720-434-3406 to help you with your minor dripping annoyances or full-blown faucet emergencies. Main line service The main water line to your house is the source of clean, fresh water to your entire home and ensuring that it is corrosion free, damage free, and blockage free is incredibly important.  The technicians at Master Rooter Plumbing have access to some of the most state-of-the-art technology to investigate just what exactly can be effecting your main water line.  We eliminate the guesswork and can quickly diagnose whatever issues could be disrupting the flow of water into your home.  If you are experiencing a disruption or service, a drop in water pressure or discolored water, call the team at Master Rooter Plumbing 24-7 to get your clean water back on track. Tankless water heaters Whereas a traditional water heater will collect water and heat it for future use, tankless water heaters heat water directly without the need of a tank, basically making them the “on-demand” version of water heaters.  While not the best option if you plan on doing things like simultaneously taking a shower while washing clothes, they generally are a more cost-effective water-heating option for most homes. At Master Rooter Plumbing, we are experts in all things tankless water heating.  If your tankless water heater experiences any issues or simply needs routine maintenance, call our team of expert plumbing technicians. Underground repairs The biggest issue with sewer and plumbing lines is that they are hidden from the naked eye.  Buried underground the last thing you want to do is blindly dig around your yard with a shovel trying to identify the source of a leak.  At Master Rooter Plumbing, our team of technicians can use our years or experience and state-of-the-art equipment to non-invasively identify where your damage is coming from so that it can be addressed effectively and quickly. Excavation Plumbing and sewer systems are amazing conveniences and by hiding pipes underground, these amazing systems are able to do their jobs without making your home’s yard look less appealing.  The downside however is that if one of these systems becomes damaged do to corrosion, the soil shifting, or just simply because of time, there is not way to repair or service them without excavating the ground to locate them damage.  At Master Rooter Plumbing, we are highly trained in locating breaks and damage before we even begin the process of excavation. And whether it’s something that can be addressed simply with shovels, or maybe something requiring larger equipment, we strive to effect the overall look of your yard as little as possible.  So call Master Rooter Plumbing today if you are in need of excavation services! Let us be your “go to” Plumber in Denver. If you’re experiencing difficulty with your plumbing system, or you want to avoid one altogether, contact or call Master Rooter today for an estimate!
After going through another company who didn't know much about residential water heaters and basically scammed us I decided to call Bayz plumbing and I wish I called them first.  We called on a weekday during 6 or 7 pm and left a message and Benjamin called us back within minutes after leaving a message.  I told him what our problem was with our heater (Kept having to turn the water heater off and on as the hot water kept turning off all the time and after awhile there was no hot water at all) and he helped us over the phone.  Benjamin came over the next day to look at our Rheem water heater and let us know exactly what was going on and told us to call the company to order the necessary parts.  As soon as the parts came in we had Benjamin come back over to install everything (my husband and I didn't want to try and attempt and possibly fail so why not hire the professional) and he did it so fast! He gave us helpful information so it wouldn't happen again.  I can honestly say that Benjamin at Bayz plumbing was very helpful with useful information and knew exactly what he was talking about! I will recommend Benjamin at Bayz plumbing for their outstanding service and being very honest and not trying to rip us off unlike other companies.
Not only do plumber apprentices have to complete their training and education to receive their licenses, they also are required to pass a criminal background check and carry liability insurance. Hiring just anybody can make you vulnerable to fraud since unlicensed plumbers might not know what they're doing or could pretend to fix something and end up charging you for the incomplete work.

Not all plumbing companies can guarantee up-front pricing, superior workmanship and parts, licensed and insured plumbing contractors, and courteous support from uniformed professionals. Whether you are in need of drain cleaning or would like to schedule a plumbing inspection for your home, Mr. Rooter's plumbing services can handle it all! Our skilled plumbers are knowledgeable and equipped with the latest tools needed to achieve optimal results. Give us a call at (855) 982-2028, or request a job estimate online.

Using corrosive chemicals to dissolve a clog is like throwing a grenade down a gopher hole. Instead, Wroblewski recommends flushing your drains weekly with a half cup of baking soda and one cup of vinegar. Let it fizz in the drain for ten minutes, then pour in four cups of boiling water. Find out about the plumbing nightmares that will make you cringe.
We had scheduled this company to come look at and replace our drum trap last week Saturday between… We had scheduled this company to come look at and replace our drum trap last week Saturday between 10am-2pm. They called around 12pm and said that they were behind schedule and short staffed and couldn't make it. They said they would reschedule the work for the following Saturday. Today is that rescheduled Saturday and they called saying they would arrive around 11:30am. They called back and said they were running behind again and it would be more like 12:30-1pm. They called back again and said the worker looked at the pictures and isn't comfortable doing the work. What a run around, what a waste of our time, what a joke. Poorly managed company. Read more
If there’s a plumbing problem in your home, Abacus Plumbing will fix it. Abacus plumbers are background-checked, highly trained, and state licensed; therefore, you’ll be getting a quality technician to service your home’s plumbing network. Abacus plumbers have years of experience repairing residential plumbing systems; there isn’t an issue they have not tackled, including:

This business does not give any indication of prices over the phone and say they do not "charge by the hour, but by the job". It turns out they have a price list that is fixed for types of jobs, but they won't even give you those prices over the phone. They charge $100 for the call out, although they say it's not a call out fee, but just to protect themselves from no shows. BUT, if you don't accept their quote to do the job, they charge you the $100 anyway. Sounds like a call out fee to me. And since you can't get any indication of what the job will cost before they come out, you're kind of stuck with it even if the quote is ridiculous. Their rates are way over what you would expect for the job. We paid $348 to unblock a drain, a job that took between 60 and 90 minutes. I won't be calling them again.

“Don’t go to the Yellow Pages to find a plumber,” says Berkey’s Bill Stevens. “It’s like guessing lottery numbers. Anyone can make an appealing ad, but that doesn’t mean they are legitimate. In this industry, it’s easy for a plumber who develops a poor reputation to advertise under a different name. They come and go.” Even searching for someone online may end up being a scam using fake reviews. Instead, look for a plumber who is well-established in your community. Check the Better Business Bureau and read customer reviews at sites such as HomeAdvisor, Angie’s List, or Citysearch. Local contractors or plumbing fixture stores can also refer you to a quality plumber, according to Grady Daniel, who owns a plumbing company in Austin, Texas. “Most of these firms won’t work with bad plumbers.” Or simply ask your neighbors for a referral. A trusted plumber that consistently delivers quality service does not remain a secret for very long.

Mr. Rooter was the most price competitive of the 3 bids I had on sewer repair. Their initial project kicked off in a timely manner before being dragged down by delays. Eventually the project was "complete" - however no walkthrough or signoff occured. My project manager then quit Mr. Rooter. As the weeks went on I started to get calls asking for final payment, even got 1-2 offers to have people "stop by" to go over my project with me. Nothing materialized. Eventually they mailed me the paperwork and ran my credit card on file. For $10K I have an allegedly fixed sewer and some paperwork from the city... However, I cannot recommend this company's customer service.
If nothing inside the home was altered you should not be getting a smell. Personally I'm confused as to why the repair person would have left the original line there and ran another one through a new hole. I would have pulled the old line up, ran the new line (in PVC) and used the same hole in the septic tank instead of creating a new one. Did he seal up the hole in the tank from the old line?
Our washer overflowed and we called Mr. Rooter in for help. After inspecting our clean out and going up on the roof and inspecting shafts from kitchen and bathroom, we were told we had a pipe collapsed in 3 places under the slab of our house. Estimated job would be well over 20,000. Paid in 173.00 that day. He indicated he would be back for final estimate. We have never seen him again. We called local plumber, Staas Plumbing to come in. After thorough investigation, he determined there was no collapsed pipe! Blockage repair cost less than 150.00. Don't ever use Mr. Rooter!!!
Exceptional service is something that we provide to all of our customers, without exception. From the time that we arrive at your home to the moment we leave, you will receive our full and undivided attention and your plumbing problem will become ours to solve. At Action Auger, every plumbing service call that we take is important to us because your complete satisfaction is important to us. We are committed to getting the job done right the first time.
Then again, if you don’t have the time, tools, or inclination to do your own plumbing repairs, you can hire a pro. A plumber can handle nearly any problem that involves pipes, from replacing a garbage disposal to unclogging a bathtub drain, but, if your problem is a stopped-up drain, you’re usually better off calling a drain-clearing service because these are generally less expensive.
